Description

William L. Rawn III, FAIA, LEED AP, is the founding Principal of William Rawn Associates, Architects of Boston. He is a graduate of Yale College, Harvard Law School and MIT School of Architecture. He served on the MIT Visiting Committee for the Department of Architecture from 1996 until 2006. He has also served on the Harvard Graduate School of Design Visiting Committee since 2008, and on the Boston Civic Design Commission since 1994. He served as a trustee of the ICA Boston from 1992 to 2007. He has received numerous awards and recognition for work in civic buildings, on college and university campuses and in the performing arts. Notable buildings include Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood; 62 Center for Theatre and Dance, Williams College; and the Cambridge Public Library.
