Description
This is considered one of the finest stone sculptures of the Northwest Coast. There is a matching inner mask with open eyes in the collection of the Musée de l’Homme in Paris. The two masks were collected at two different times by two different collectors, and it was only discovered many years later that they were meant to fit together.
