Description

This photograph was taken on the occasion of the Vienna Secessions fourteenth exhibition, the so-called Beethoven show. Included are a number of the members of the Secession, who signed the photo in the margin below. Notably Klimt is the only one dressed in a painters smock indicative of his wanton reputation; the other artists are formally dressed and most are wearing hats.
