Description
Founder and lead vocalist of Boston pre-punk and pop band, the Modern Lovers. Other Modern Lovers were David Robinson (later the Cars drummer) and Jerry Harrison (later keyboard player with Talking Heads). This a record company promotional photo after Jonathan had gone solo in the 1970s. He still records and tours (recently headlining the Somerville Theatre). Jonathan is wearing a local Lesley College shirt.
