Description
Koren’s wit focuses on worlds he knows, but perhaps none has offered him such delicious opportunities as the cultural scene. A full participant in that scene, Koren has brought the choreographic talent of his pen to celebrate dance—as seen in these cartoons from the 1989 Joyce Theater Calendar—and music on all levels. The Joyce Theater in New York City was founded in 1982 and was created by dancers for dance; today, The Joyce is considered one of the premier performance venues for dance.
